Each Kanji has its own essence and significance. The characters, or kanji, are not only symbols of meaning, but also representations of the movement and the energy of the brush. The brush follows the breath and the emotion of the calligrapher, creating a very personal work. Miho's contemporary calligraphic approach has a foundation of traditional techniques producing a truly original piece of art.
