Established in 2002, Dean Leitch and Miho Araki have created a unique shopping experience offering stunning collections of Japanese lifestyle products from antique furniture to vintage fabrics and traditional home wares.
Dean; a collector of antique furniture, clocks and screens has a passion for restoration; Dean is also able to work closely with our customers to help restore furniture for their specific needs.
Miho; an artist of extraordinary talents together with an expertise in traditional Japanese calligraphy, Miho’s artworks bring new life to traditional Japanese calligraphy, offering her own messages painted on canvases and ready to enhance any living room wall.
Our collections of pieces are hand-picked from the Japanese countryside markets; old houses and village recycle shops. Together with the local people of Kuradashi, we have also uncovered some amazing old treasures and spectacular traditional Japanese antiques.
With an annual trip to Japan we are able to keep ebisu design full of fresh and exciting riches that are sure to tempt you.
With a beautiful Tatami room & studio facing a small Zen garden at the rear of the shop, ebisu design offers a very tranquil, peaceful space that welcomes our customers to a unique shopping experience.
We look forward to sharing this experience with you soon!
